Unity in Sound Community Choir is a women’s choir based in Ipplepen. Members are a mix of ages, life stages and backgrounds.
What a busy year of performance we are having in the lead up to our 10th anniversary next March! Here we are singing our hearts out during our fantastic gig at Abbfest in September. The weather outside was somewhat inclement, but we managed to squeeze into the craft tent and enjoyed great acoustics and an appreciative audience.
Thanks to our increased community engagement this year we are enjoying a recruitment boom, with lots of new ladies joining us in recent months.

Dates for your diary: in November, we are out gigging not once but twice!
On Thursday 13th, between 6pm and 9pm, Fermoys Garden Centre are inviting shoppers to kick start their Christmas in style, browse their range of decorations and gift ideas, with lots of special discounts available, and partake of a glass of fizz and a mince pie. We will be performing as part of the live entertainment on offer throughout the evening, timings to be confirmed on our social media platforms.
Then on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th, from 10am to 3pm, Abbotskerswell Christmas Market will be held in the village hall, with 45 local traders selling unique gifts, as well as stalls raising funds for local charities such as ELM Wildlife Rescue, South West Wildlife Fundraising and Hector’s House Cat Rescue. We will be singing on Saturday 29th for around an hour from 11am.

Our aim is to grow our numbers. We’re a non-audition choir singing a range of different parts so there’s sure to be something to suit every voice.
